The event brought together students, teachers, the school principal, area chief, parents, and our organization members for a day dedicated to environmental conservation and education.
The successful partnership with Queen Of Rosary Primary School continues to grow, with plans to establish a seedbed and nursery within the school premises. This will serve as a hands-on learning laboratory for students and ensure a sustainable source of seedlings for future planting initiatives.
The Mazingira Day celebration not only contributed to greening the school environment but also instilled environmental stewardship values in the young learners, creating the next generation of environmental champions.

Compassion Africa Initiative took a significant step in promoting sustainable waste management practices by launching a comprehensive waste management program at Gatuanyaga Primary School. This initiative focuses on transforming waste handling from an environmental challenge into an economic opportunity.
The program goes beyond mere waste management - it's about cultivating a generation that understands the value of resources and the importance of circular economies. By teaching children early about the economic potential of proper waste management, we're planting seeds for sustainable thinking that will benefit communities for years to come.
The students of Gatuanyaga Primary showed incredible engagement and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions about how they could extend these practices to their homes and communities.
