Compassion Africa Initiative took a significant step in promoting sustainable waste management practices by launching a comprehensive waste management program at Gatuanyaga Primary School. This initiative focuses on transforming waste handling from an environmental challenge into an economic opportunity.
The program goes beyond mere waste management - it's about cultivating a generation that understands the value of resources and the importance of circular economies. By teaching children early about the economic potential of proper waste management, we're planting seeds for sustainable thinking that will benefit communities for years to come.
The students of Gatuanyaga Primary showed incredible engagement and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions about how they could extend these practices to their homes and communities.

Promoting a healthy living awareness in the communities
Compassion Africa Initiative participated as a key partner in the free medical camp organized by Rotary Clubs of Juja, Nairobi Bustani, and Rotaract Clubs. This marked our first major health-focused activity, where we emphasized blood donation as one of our core pillars in community health promotion.
At this event, Compassion Africa Initiative specifically promoted blood donation as a vital component of community health. We educated attendees on the importance of regular blood donation and how it saves lives in emergency situations, for cancer patients, during childbirth complications, and for various medical treatments.
"We urge our fellow youths to show up for blood donation events. As we demonstrate in this and other events, let's donate blood and save lives in our community. Your single donation can save up to three lives!"
